Milton Keynes Pride Festival takes place on Saturday the 14th September 2024.

Milton Keynes Pride Festival is a Non-Profit community interest company that has been developed to provide Milton Keynes with an annual Pride. We seek to promote visibility, social cohesion, connection, education, equality, promotion of the LGBTQ+ community in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Alongside a fabulous festival day of course! As a team of volunteers that donate their time to organise this event, it is a life passion, and we appreciate all the support we have seen from both the community and local business. 95% of all performers are from the LGBTQ+ community, and we promote LGBTQ+ owned businesses as much as possible. All the businesses you will see at the event or providers are either LGBTQ+ run or have established, structured support for their LGBTQ+ staff or customers.

Are there accessible facilities for attendees with disabilities? Yes

MKPF are fully committed to making sure the festival is accessible to everyone within our community. MKPF have BSL performance interpreters across both our entertainment marquees and community tent. MKPF provide braille programs, Revoloo (a mobile self contained changing facility) providing a hoist and adult sized changing bench and toilet.

We also provide Disabled toilet facilities, on site medical services, wheelchair charging stations, sensory calming tent for children & adults and a dedicated accessibility entrance and exit.

We have registered BSL interpreters across all performance stages and our community space. Along with braille programs available from our merchandise tent.

The afternoon session is family friendly from 12pm to 6pm.

The evening session welcomes adults only over the age of 18 from 6pm to 10pm.

The afternoon session is family friendly from 12pm to 6pm, where swimsuit coverage is a minimum requirement.

There is a strict dress code policy in place along with filtered language and lyric content during performances from artists and performers, making it suitable for families with children.

Pride by night

The evening session welcomes adults only over the age of 18 from 6pm to 10:30pm.

The dress code policy is lifted and adult-orientated entertainment and cabaret from artists, performers and comedians takes place. There are no longer language or lyric content restrictions on performances.
