Hexham Pride seeks to showcase LGBTQIA+ artists who don’t usually get invited to the larger Pride events.
This year we have a range of folk, spoken word, singer-song writers, a punk band, and Sunday headline act PJ Taylor.
Spread over 2 days and centered around the bandstand.
On the Saturday, a local drumming band will start on Fore Street at 11am and we will then proceed to march from 11:20am.
Our live acts start from 12noon and finish at 5pm. There will be a drag king story time in the library.
On the Sunday come for our second day at the bandstand from 12-2pm (no march this day).

Throughout June there will also be a LGBTQIA+ film festival at the independent cinema including the film Blue Jean which was filmed in Hexham.

Other events will be happening in June throughout the town.
