Join us for a day of colourful craft inspired by LGBTQ+ Pride!

From storytelling and songs, origami crafts and facepainting, visitors can take part in a variety of activities celebrating colour and the joy of diversity and difference. The showcase event of the day is a collaborative installation, with families transforming the windows of The National Archives into a rainbow-coloured, stained glass masterpiece! Visitors can also discover some of the incredible LGBTQ+ individuals who feature in our collection with our family friendly document display and hear more about the spaces and identities they created for themselves.

There is an exciting range of activities throughout the day suitable for children of all ages.
